We survived "Mustache March" and enjoyed Easter with some friends. 

Corinne has been super obsessed with "Minions" and all the "Despicable Me" movies, her new nick name is "DJ Little Minion" when she's at the end of her rope right before meltdown. A name daddy gave her one night when she was tirelessly playing on her little piano her grandmother bought her,  and singling the night away. I'll have to try and capture it on video next time. I know every parent says it, but I am amazed at how much she grows every single day. 

As for me, I'm growing life!! 
My plants are really starting to come alive, hopefully I can keep them going. I've officially opened my Etsy shop, even though it's still pretty empty, but hey, it's a start and hopefully I can sell enough so Isaac can stop giving me "those looks" when I bring home more fabric...

Isaac has been working on building us a new table! I'm so excited to have a "real table"!! This summer he will be super busy with a healthy list of new wood working projects for him to give our home more character (read: get rid of all our cheap Walmart furniture). 

This summer we have plans to travel south to Bismark for Corinne's birthday and visit our neighbors to the north (Canada). Isaac was very insistent that we need to have our passports so we can travel more to places we have never been. We also agreed to grow where we are planted, discover the areas around us rather than always traveling "back home". And while we love home/families/friends, it's time we "got out there". Who knows, maybe we'll even make it overseas soon!

As a family of four, Valentine's Day celebrations are not the same as they were 10 years ago when I celebrated my first Valentine's Day with the love of my life.  This year was spent with my daughter.  We saw the new Sonic movie, painted pottery and got some cookies at our favorite cookie shop.  Later that night was spent making dinner, and turning in early because well, the hubs and little boy were both miserable while battling off colds and sickness.   I got to thinking, as someone who only grew up decorating for Christmas, are there really all that many people who go big when it comes to other holidays?  I have a cute little banner I put up for each major holiday, but struggle with knowing when to put it up and when to take it down. Honeymoon

Four our honeymoon, Isaac and I took a four day Carnival cruise out of Long Beach, California to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. The first day we got up super early to drive from Logan, UT aaaaal the way down to Salt Lake City. One of Isaac's old mission companions was having a baby blessing. It was super awesome because after they invited us over to bbq and they also had some Hatian food (Isaac missed it very much) which was actually pretty yummy. The first day we got up super early to drive from Logan, UT aaaaal the way down to Salt Lake City. Two weeks away and I turn 27 (I don't actually feel that old since my husband just turned 25. And I don't feel like he is actually that old since he is just finishing is last year of undergrad school. And unlike Utah, where a lot of guys serve missions so they graduate school later, being from Arizona I'm used to college graduates being younger. Result? My, what would you call it,  age that I actually feel is around 23 or 24 years. THREE weeks and a couple of days and I will be in ARIZONA!! I'm so ExCiTeD to see my family and friends! Not looking forward to the HOT weather, but it might actually be a nice break from here since it's suppose to be in the 50's by the time we leave. There are some things in Utah that are growing on me. The weather. Weird, right? I can't really figure it out myself.
